A Planned Giving Program of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church
For over 75 years, Saints Constantine and Helen has been a spiritual home for Orthodox Christians in Annapolis—a place of worship, fellowship, and formation. From our founding in 1949 to the consecration of our current home in 1996, each generation has built upon the faithfulness of those who came before.
Through the Legacy of the Good Shepherd program, you can ensure that this sacred work continues long after our earthly lives have ended. Just as the Church remembers the faithful through the ages, your gift becomes part of a living legacy—blessing generations yet to come.

Why Your Gift Matters
Maintaining a vibrant parish requires significant resources. Our daily operating costs are approximately $2,500—that's $17,500 each week, over $75,000 every month, and more than $912,000 each year. These funds support everything from liturgical life and clergy to building maintenance, utilities, and ministries.
A planned gift—no matter the size—helps ensure that Saints Constantine and Helen remains a beacon of Orthodoxy in our community for generations to come.
Two Ways to Leave a Legacy
General Fund – A gift to the General Fund supports the church's immediate operational needs—keeping the lights on, the doors open, and our ministries active. If the parish operates with a surplus in a given year, any remaining funds from your bequest will be transferred to the Endowment, ensuring nothing is lost and future generations still benefit.
Endowment Fund – A gift to the Endowment is held in perpetuity, with only the earnings used to support the parish. This creates a permanent foundation for the church's future—a gift that keeps giving across generations.
Both types of gifts are needed and deeply appreciated. Choose the path that reflects your heart.

We are committed to honoring your intentions and will work with you to ensure your wishes are fulfilled.
Types of Gifts We Welcome
- Bequests – A gift made through your will or living trust
